The Georgia Farm Bureau Marketing Department is the marketing agency for our farmer members, and its staff assists producers with marketing their grain and food ingredient procurement.
The Marketing Department was formed to give producers an alternative market for their commodities and maintain competition in the market place. When Georgia Farm Bureau established the Marketing Association in 1964, our goal was to help producers receive the best possible price for their commodities. We still strive to accomplish that goal today.
The Marketing Department offers marketing programs for grain, feed ingredients and processing apples. We provide market information through our Commodity Farm Line. The Commodity Farm Line offers closing futures quotes on grains, livestock and cotton on a toll-free number (1-866-432-3276). For more info on this service, call the Commodities/Marketing Department at 1-800-342-1192.

We offer livestock producers assistance in purchasing feed ingredients such as soybean meal, soybean hulls, cottonseed products and corn gluten.
APPLE SALES
The Marketing Department provides assistance to apple growers in selling processing apples. These are primarily juice apples and are sold through a sales desk direct to the processor.
