Vendors Wanted For 2012 Brooks County Skillet Festival

Destination Brooks is gearing up for the 2012 Brooks County Skillet Festival, taking place October 20th in Quitman, Georgia.

They are currently accepting applications on their website for vendors and sponsors in North Florida and South Georgia.

Lauren Basford, President of Destination Brooks, says the purpose of the event is to highlight local agriculture, artisans and southern cuisine. "It's part food festival, part farmers market, arts & crafts fair, and this year we are adding an antique component as well."

Approximately 2,000 people attended the event last year.
