There's a new way for you to show support for Georgia farmers and agricultural products.
The State Department of Agriculture has launched a new online store promoting its Georgia Grown marketing initiative.
"The 'Georgia Grown' product line started with t-shirts and hats this summer and has grown with immediate and tremendous success," Commissioner Black said in a news release. "Now, every consumer anywhere in the U.S. can access this online store with new products that emulate just how proud we are of Georgia and of our state's No. 1 industry - agriculture."
You can buy hats and t-shirts that say "I am Georgia Grown." The products are made at plants in Waycross and Wilkes County.
The Georgia Grown store is available at www.georgiagrownstore.com. It has officially opened and is accepting orders from consumers in Georgia and across the nation. For members who are already a part of the Georgia Grown program, the new store offers special discounts based on the level of membership.
