The Georgia finalist in the 23rd Swisher Sweets/Sunbelt Expo Southeastern Farmer of the Year is Barry Martin of Pulaski County. The Monitor's Rick Treptow learned during a visit to his farm that Martin uses a strict program of conservation practices and also innovates when nothing else works.
