Blueberry Council Voting To Begin

Blueberry industry members will vote soon for state-level offices in the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council.
Voting begins June 10 for state council member and alternate member positions, according to a news release from the Folsom, Calif.-based council.
Ballots must be received by the council by July 15.
The council is mailing ballots to growers in Michigan, who will vote for their representatives.
Election of council members and alternates for New Jersey, Georgia Oregon, Washington and California will be handled by their individual state blueberry councils and commissions.
Growers who produced 2,000 pounds or more of blueberries in the U.S. in 2012 are eligible to vote.
