This is the "news division" of Georgia Farm Bureau. It provides a constant flow of news and information to the state's media of current agricultural news, news of our farmers' activities and achievements, Farm Bureau policy on agricultural and rural matters and issues of interest to our members and to Georgia agriculture.

It also gathers news for dissemination to Georgia agriculture and produces all Farm Bureau publications, printed materials, advertising and broadcast programs for the Farm Bureau companies. It also created (in 1995) and maintains this web site. It's all about informing the farmer and our consumers.

We know that it's convenient for farmers to get their information from radio. That's why, since 1965, as a service to agriculture, we provided radio programs with the latest agribusiness news to stations throughout the state. In the 1980's, we began delivering radio programs via satellite through the Georgia Radio News Service, which later became the Georgia News Network (GNN).

Since 2001, the Georgia Farm Radio Network, a commercial partnership with Clear Channel - Atlanta & the Georgia News Network has been broadcasting seven daily agribusiness programs to 40 Georgia radio stations!

A weekly half-hour TV program, The Georgia Farm Monitor, is produced in the Farm Bureau TV studios and seen in every market in Georgia from Atlanta to Valdosta and nationally to nearly 50 million homes on the RFD-TV network. Click HERE to go to the Farm Monitor website.

Our state TV network also covers major portions of South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. Our reporters and photographers travel all over the state and nation to cover stories of interest to Farm Bureau members, farmers and consumers in this entertaining and informative 30 minute program.

While the program focuses on Farm Bureau, the Georgia farmer and agribusiness..... national issues, consumer information and interesting feature stories are also part of the weekly broadcast. The Monitor celebrated 40 years on the air in 2006!

A rural-life feature magazine, Farm Bureau's Georgia Neighbors goes to all of our over 345,000 member families to keep them informed, and farmer members also receive the producer-oriented Georgia Farm Bureau News. You can read a feature article from each magazine by clicking their names.

A weekly newsletter, Leadership Alert, provides late-breaking news to our county offices and leadership, to state and national lawmakers, and the news media. Read the latest issue each Wednesday, a day before the printed version is mailed.
