Crawford County works to bring history to life -- This watercolor created by Macon artist Clare Golson depicts three aspects of Crawford County’s rich history: the 1852 Court House, the oakleaf hydrangea discovered by William Bartram and the pottery industry that once thrived in the area. The Historic Crawford Foundation is selling 11x 17 prints for $25 as part of its fund raising campaign to restore the Old Crawford County Courthouse.

Celebrate the seasons at Westville -- It’s always 1850 in Westville, so you’ll only find one ride in this Courier and Ives style village - a horse drawn wagon that takes visitors on a tour of the more than 30 authentic historic buildings. However, there will be plenty of old-fashioned fun with special harvest-time activities and daily demonstrations of century-old crafts including, pottery, woodworking, baskets, quilting, cloth weaving, and wood stove cooking.
