Young Farmer Leadership Conference
We're excited to announce the 2012 Young Farmer Leadership Conference and Discussion Meet competition! This year's conference will take place July 13 - 15, 2012 at Jekyll Island, Georgia. This great event is open to Farm Bureau members, between the ages of 18 and 35, and their families.
The GFB Young Farmer Committee hosts this family-friendly event to present educational, networking and social opportunities to our younger members, as well as to help build a new foundation of ag leaders for our organization. A full schedule of events will be posted on this page as the conference nears.
Once again, the Young Farmer Discussion Meet competition will take place during the Leadership Conference.
From all the competitors taking part, four finalists will be named. Those finalists will compete during the GFB Annual Convention in December at Jekyll Island.
The winner of that competition will receive some fantastic prizes, including an expense-paid trip to the American Farm Bureau Convention in Nashville, Tennessee in January 2013.
