
APPLE DUMPLINGS
5 apples, peeled and cut in half
10 canned biscuits
Cinnamon, sprinkled to taste
SAUCE
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp self-rising flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups water
1 stick butter
Preheat oven to 350º.
Wrap biscuits around apple halves and place in baking dish. In a saucepan, bring all sauce ingredients to a rolling boil. Pour sauce over apple halves. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 350º until golden and bubbly..
