UGA launches national search for ag school dean
University of Georgia Provost Jack Hu has appointed a 24-member committee to begin a national search for candidates for the position of dean and director of UGA’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES).
The committee is co-chaired by Jennifer Frum, vice president for Public Service and Outreach, and Dale Greene, dean of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. It includes faculty, staff and student representation, as well as representatives from industry and state government. In addition, the university will retain an external search firm to help identify candidates.

Sam Pardue, who has led the college since 2016, announced in January that he will be stepping down as dean on June 30.
