Georgia Farm Bureau (GFB) Women’s Leadership Committee (WLC) members have been busy learning and leading in 2026. Committee members have been planning district meetings that started in April and will continue into the fall.

Attendees participated in a floral arrangement workshop at Morgan County High School led by ag teachers Rachel Kinsaul and Erin Pringle. They also visited Rock House Creamery where they learned about dairy farming. Kinsaul, the 2026 Georgia Teacher of the Year (TOY), shared her TOY journey during lunch at Farmview Market. She is the first ag educator to be awarded the Georgia title. /Photo by Heather King

Each Women’s Leadership district meeting will feature an advocacy focus, as well as fellowship and networking. GFB women are always looking for ways to give back to their local communities. County Farm Bureaus and volunteers donated snacks and funds toward pallets of diapers for two service projects during the opening session of the GFB Women in Ag Summit. Attendees spent the afternoon of March 19 assembling 850 snack bags for families who will stay at the Savannah Ronald McDonald House. They also sorted and wrapped 16,750 diapers that will be distributed to 670 families through the Over the Moon Diaper Bank that serves 24 Georgia counties located in GFB’s 6th, 7th and 10th Districts.
