Not only does this cookie melt in your mouth, it will fool your friends into thinking you spent hours in the kitchen preparing them. Raspberry Almond Shortbread Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients
For the cookie dough:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon almond extract
½ cup seedless raspberry jam
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2/3 teaspoons water
½ teaspoon almond extract
