5 Ingredient Leafy Greens

Leafy Greens Recipe

These greens are beautiful and also healthy for you. Here's a recipe that we love, and we hope you'll try it too! Don't forget to purchase your greens for this recipe from one of our Certified Farm Markets



  • 1 lb or 2 bunches of kale

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1.4 tsp kosher salt

  • ground pepper to taste

  • lemon wedges (optional)

  • parmesan cheese (optional)



  1. Wash and dry kale leaves, de-stem and roughly chop.

  2. Mash and peel garlic cloves

  3. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and kale. Cook for three minutes, stirring frequently. Kale will be wilted and bright in color. 

  4. Remove from heat, add salt and ground pepper. Remove garlic cloves from skillet. 

  5. Serve immediately with lemon juice and or parmesan cheese, if using.
